"Steptoe and Son"
The first of three theatre visits this week, courtesy of my work for the British Theatre Guide: "Steptoe and Son" at the Sherman Cymru - a touring production from Kneehigh Theatre in conjunction with the West Yorkshire Playhouse. A highly enjoyable production, cleverly stitching together four episodes of the classic sit-com, with a surreal, song-and-dance twist. But sadly not the one which starred Leonard Rossiter as an escaped prisoner.
